7th Pay Commission report to be put up before Cabinet in June – 7th CPC implementation Notification to come at the earliest Central government employees can expect to get some good news trickling in from government sources towards the end of June. As per reports, the Finance Ministry is likely to table the 7th Pay Commission report to the Cabinet for approval in the last week of June. The 7th pay panel headed by AK Mathur had recommended the minimum salary for central government employees at Rs 18,000 and maximum salary at Rs 2,50,000. As employees protested against the wage hikecalling it the “lowest ever” raise, the government set up the Empowered Committee of Secretaries group to review the AK Mathur-panel’s recommendations. The Empowered Committee of Secretaries on the Seventh Central Pay Commission is expected to soon wrap up its report on the remuneration of government employees. Sub : Cadre Restructuring of Group ’C’ employees in Department of Posts. D.G. Post letter No. 25-04/2012-PE-I dated 27th May, 2016.             The Cadre Restructuring of Group-C  employees of Department of Posts has been undertaken in consultation with Department of Expenditure , Ministry of Finance in pursuance of the approval concurrence of the Department  of Expenditure  vide ID No. 2(45)E.III Desk/2015 dated 12th May,2016 , a list at distribution of the posts containing the existing and revised posts  of Postal Assistants, Lower Selection  Grade, Higher Selection  Grade II & I and also a few HSG-I (Non-Functional Grade) is enclosed for implementation with the  following  instructions: a)         The post of SPMs in Single  Handed  and Double Handed Post Offices  to the cadre of LSG posts (GP Rs.2800) shown in the  annexure now allotted to the Circle , will be placed in the Grade  Pay of Rs.2800/- in the Pay Band-I.. b)         The post of SPMs in Triple Hande

Change of Role of SBCO in the backdrop of implementation of CBS (Addendum SB order 14/2015) The competent authority has reviewed the Annexure attached to the  SB Order No.14/2015  and decided to replace point 5.1 of the Annexure from the date of receipt of this order. Content of point 5.1 shall be as under:-  5.1 Examination of scheme-wise consolidation received from HO and SOs, Checking of entries in LOTs viewed from Finacle MIS server and checking the daily/ progressive totals in the Cash Book.  5.1.1 SBCO PA  The designated Postal Assistant SBCO will receive Scheme-wise sealed and stitched Voucher Bundles with Consolidation placed at the top from Sub Account PA. He will generate fresh consolidation of each scheme from Finacle production server (HFINRPT) and compare the print out received from SOs with the system generated consolidation. Both the consolidations should be tallied with SO Daily Account and SO Summary. Bundle of HO will be received from APM(SB) of HO Counte

Sinha, Secretary (P) Department of Posts, New Delhi 110 001.             Sub : Regarding implementation of SB Order No. 14/2015 and subsequent letter                      No. 25-11/2016 – SB Dated 10/11.05.2016 – Difficulties caused to SBCO staff..             As per SB Order 14/2015 circulated under your office file no.  116-15/2013-SB (Pt-SBCO) dated 19.10.2015 and subsequent letter No. 25-11/2016 – SB Dated 10/11.05.2016 SBCO has to check vouchers with LOT generated by MIS server and tally the consolidations received from SOs with consolidations generated by MIS server. But following difficulties are being faced while working with the prescribed procedure. 1. Most of the time the MIS server remains inaccessible. Therefore the SBCO section finds difficulties in checking the vouchers with LOTs and comparing the consolidation

Cadre Restructuring Proposal - The Salient features of the agreement are as follows :

The Salient features of the agreement are as follows : 1. Number of LSG posts will increase from 8 % to 22 % 2. Number of HSG II posts will increase from 2 % to 12 % 3. Number of HSG I posts will increase from 1.5 % to 4 % 4. After completion of 2 years in HSG I the official will be promoted to 4800 GP (Non-functional Basis) 5. The above proposal will be applicable to RMS, Circle Office and SBCO in the same ratio 6. Postman/Mail guard will get the same ratio of promotion. 1. The Post of SPM in Single and Double Handed Post offices will be placed under 2800/- Grade Pay ie All LSG and I MACP officials would man the offices. 2.
