I wish to bring your kind notice about the necessity of Revised Control Procedure after the scenario of CBS implementation successfully in our Postal Department.
The importance of CBS implementation, speedy public service to the Department, provision of ATM, reduction of workload in all level and maintenance of paperless office. While reviewing the SBCO revised Control procedure, the maintenance of paperless office policy must be kept in mind and repeated working aspects for a similar work must be avoided.
Our Union had already sent several suggestions to DDG [FS] and Secretary [P] vide letter No: CHQ/13-SBCO-CBS Accounting Procedure/AISBCEU/2014 Dated 28.12.2014, in this regard including the accounting irregularities after CBS implementation in our Department. Necessary action has to be taken immediately to solve the accounting irregularities in the CBS process, otherwise it will be a major burden in future in our CBS functioning.
Our Union is one of the recognized services Union with more than 70% of members in SBCO cadre. Hence, our Union may please be called for a discussion to give our opinion before taken the final conclusion of the Revised control procedure to avoid future modifications in this matter.
