CIRCULAR No.

Dear friends,
The Central working committee and All India Conference of the Union
are scheduled from 17th March 2017 to 19th
March 2017 at Pushkar, Ajmer, Rajasthan Circle. Being the central
working committee member of the Union, along with Sri.
T.P.Padmanabhan Nair, Shri Shabeer S(Asst. Secretaries) , Sri. K.
Chandrababu ( Treasurer) will attend the meeting representing our
circle. Due to major changes in the nature of work of SBCO on
implementation of CORE BANKING SOLUTION the meetings are having much
more importance.
For
our legitimate right for Organized Accounts cadre our union has
filed case at Kolkata CAT vide OA No. 350/00145/2017 on 02.02.2017
through Senior Lawyer Sri. Kalyan Sarkar of High Court/CAT Calcutta
as the 7th Pay Commission also has not considered our
demand for Auditors status for SBCO Staff. By winning the case, major
problems now faced by our staff will be automatically solved
including the change of our disciplinary authority and working hours
of SBCOs. The next hearing is fixed on 28.06.2017. Let us hope for a
good news.
In
the issue of non- BCR promotion to UDCs who have not completed 26
years of service on par with juniors who were promoted to BCR by
virtue of completing 26 years of service , judgment was received
from Supreme court in favour of the SBCO employees . The benefit will
have to be given within a period of 12 weeks. In this connection
Directorate has taken immediate action to process the case. More
than 50 members in our circle will be benefitted by the recent
judgment. Details of beneficiaries and date of effect to be given
etc., were submitted by the Union to our Circle administration.
In
both the cases , Sri. A.N.Paul, our Circle Secretary of West Bengal
has done a good job. I make this opportunity to thank him for his
sincere service to all the SBCO employees irrespective of the
Unions. At the time of attending the conferences at Ajmer we were
also asked by the Central Head Quarters to remit maximum amount
as we can, to cope up with the expenses in connection with the
court cases. You know, Our union is not compelling for any
collections as other unions , I will be obliged if you would
kindly understand the situations and co- operate by remitting
maximum in POSB Account No.3363611456 (Sri. A.R.Sreekumar &
Sri.K.Chandrababu) on getting salary for the month February 2017
positively.

Our
members are due for MACP for the last 2 years. The matter was taken
up with the competitive authority and it is informed that after 7th
CPC a clarification was required regarding the bench mark. But now,
two days before, the clarification was obtained in favour of
employees and it is intimated that within a short time MACP orders
will be issued by CO. Besides statistics of number of posts and
number of accounts are also collected by the Directorate regarding
the cadre restructuring of SBCOs. Besides action is also being taken
by CHQ to get the time factor fixed for SBCO works after CBS by the
Directorate.
Since
