Action plan for CBS Migration in Kerala Circle

Directorate vide e-mail dated 17.01.2014, it is intimated that the CBS will be implemented in the Circle on 10th March 2014.  A checklist for activities related to the migration to the CBS platform has been prepared by DMCC Tamil Nadu and published in SDC Website.

Vendors of Infosys, the FSI will be visiting the Post Offices to undertake the digitization of the manual data (Prior to computerisation including the discontinued schemes, Savings Certificate details etc).  The documents relating to the manual data has to be segregated and kept ready for the data entry.  Necessary support to the vendor to digitize the manual records should be extended by the Post Offices.  Also the data entry should be verified and authenticated by the Supervisor on data-to-day basis. This is because this digitized data will be updated in the CBS-Finacle software where chances are very remote for further data correction.  Also care should be taken that all the manual data is got captured digitally without any omissions.
